I live in a small seaside town in Suffolk where I spend most of my time creating illustrations that theme on a variety of subjects. My work is predominantly geared towards children however I enjoy making botanical patterns, portraits and most recently greetings cards. Someday I hope to become a children’s book illustrator where I can bring my characters to life through story telling. Right now I am currently studying illustration at Norwich University of the arts where I get to work on exciting briefs and build my portfolio. When making illustrations I believe that they should be visually exciting and engaging for both adults and children regardless of the theme or topic. I tend to work digitally on my iPad however I’m adept at drawing traditionally, using predominantly pencils and inks as well as collage. My portfolio mainly consists of work made in response to personal and university projects where I pride myself on my ability to depict playful character designs whilst ensuring that each illustration is unique and memorable.
